Looking back at the origin of the term Crowdfunding

Occasionally, I am asked to do interviews or attend conferences because I happened to have coined a term that is widely used today — Crowdfunding.

I don’t put much weight on this noteworthy incident but it is certainly interesting and a little fun to be the first to use a term that is so embedded in our global culture today. I don’t typically respond to requests with much info and I don’t do Crowdfunding related conferences but this time I answered a few questions over email and the German publication at crowdfunding.de has posted my responses here:
